About

Texas Panhandle

Panhandle nights, high school schedules, and the canyon, with Lubbock and Clovis on their own pages.

Texas Panhandle watches Amarillo, Canyon, and the high school towns around them: Bushland, Hereford, Dumas, Pampa, Borger, and Dalhart. Each school has its own page so a Sandies night and a Hereford night do not get mashed together.

Sports pages list home and away games. If the kickoff, the opponent, or the date was not on the schedule, it is marked TBA or left off. An open week is an open week.

Fine arts and other school dates show up on the school page when a school or district posts them. An empty section means nothing was confirmed for October through December 2026.

Lubbock has its own page. Clovis and Portales have their own page, and the times there are Mountain. Those nights are not mixed into the Panhandle list.

Outdoor listings are the dated ones: Palo Duro programs, the Pirates of the Canyon balloons, and Maxwell’s pumpkin farm. A bike ride, rock hunt, geocache, or cleanup is listed when an organizer posts the date.

Every dated card links to the page it came from. You can save a listing from an account, and the Friday note asks you to confirm before you are on the list.
